Soulful, Psychedelic, Blues-Rock

Toronto’s Rags N' Bones hit hard with their soulful, psychedelic, blues-rock; channeling nostalgia from a grittier time. Vocalist Kasia Bulgarski, drummer Kyrie Wilmot and guitarist John Keffer met and started jamming in 2017, giving life to compositions organically springing to life from their bluesy, ad-lib jam sessions. Bassist John DeHaas joined the band in 2018 and they released their debut album, "Dust" in September 2020. With over 30,000 streams worldwide to date, they continue to play shows in the Toronto area while working on material for their upcoming, second album.

Kasia Bulgarski
- vocals

Born and raised in Toronto, Kasia’s love for music began when her father held vinyl listening parties for kids in the neighbourhood. At 6 years old, Janis Joplin became Kasia’s greatest inspiration. When her father passed away at 16, she needed to express herself and began composing music on her piano. While she studied RTA and Sociology at Ryerson, she experimented in music production with various recording programs and organized shows across the city. With her Canadian Millennium Excellence Scholarship, she travelled to Jamaica to work on musical workshops with children in Kingston. Kasia now works as a Senior Publisher in Higher Education while playing with her Rags N' Bones.

John Dehaas
- bass

"Buy a bass and you can be in the band". How many musical adventures have started with that very same promise, I wonder? Well, I bought that bass, joined that band, then learned to play it in 30 days because we already had a gig booked. 9 bands, 23 basses, 268 gigs, 1,511 beers, & countless miles later, I find myself here...a member of a musical family I had seemingly always been preparing to meet. John Keffer
- guitar

John Keffer was born in Cambridge, England and grew up in Toronto, Canada. His early exposure to and passion for music led him to start playing guitar at a young age. He is a graduate of Fanshawe College's Music Industry Arts Program, and has worked in music and television for many years. John's influences include Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Rush, Jack White, Radiohead and much more. He has played in notable Toronto area bands such as The Screamin' Weasels, Tazmaniacs and SUBtractor. John built his own home studio where he writes, plays and records with Rags N' Bones.

Kyrie Wilmot
- drums

Kyrie Wilmot was exposed to a variety of music at an early age, which would come to shape his career and musical expression. He started playing bass, guitar and drums in his formative years; becoming a fan of metal, hard rock, and later electronic music. Graduating at the top of his class with a diploma in Recording Production, Kyrie launched his career as a Sound Engineer in Toronto; working with production companies, local venues and television stations. Kyrie built a home studio where he plays and writes music. In 2017 his continued passion for music led him to form Rags N’ Bones with John and Kasia.

	Soulful, Psychedelic, Blues-Rock Toronto’s Rags N' Bones formed in 2017, after drummer Kyrie Wilmot and guitarist John Keffer met vocalist Kasia “Kosh” Bulgarski at a mutual friend's BBQ. The three started jamming a few weeks later and the original songs began flowing. In early 2018, bassist John Dehaas joined as the band continued writing music, with compositions organically springing to life from their ad-lib jam sessions. Throughout 2018, Rags N' Bones released a number of songs and videos to the web, recorded live, off the floor, in their two rehearsal spaces. In 2019, the band played several shows in the Toronto area and began work on their debut album, which was released in September 2020.
